Joshua Scheufler is an associate at Russ August & Kabat, focusing on intellectual property litigation. Previously, Mr. Scheufler served as the law clerk to the Honorable Magistrate Judge Roy S. Payne.

Mr. Scheufler has represented companies on both sides of the “v” across a variety of technological fields, including speech-recognition, natural language processing, user-interface design, cryptographic security, secure payment methods, cardiac monitoring medical devices, fiber optics, cloud networking, and video compression. He has experience in all stages of district court litigation as well as both inter parties review and ex party review.

Mr. Scheufler graduated from the University of Texas School of Law, where he served as the Executive Submissions Editor of the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal. He also received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, cum laude, from the University of Houston.
