Mackenzie is a dedicated associate who specializes in IP litigation. Mackenzie earned her Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis, where her work was published in the Washington University Jurisprudence Law Review. During law school, she also participated in a legal clinic that provided post-conviction representation to wrongfully convicted death row inmates in Philadelphia. This early exposure to impactful legal work instilled in her a passion for justice and courtroom advocacy.
After law school, Mackenzie clerked for the Honorable Juan F. Alanis in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Before joining RAK, Mackenzie was a litigation associate at a boutique entertainment law firm in New York City. There, she represented a wide-variety of artists and entertainers in copyright and trademark matters, focusing on protecting their creative works and intellectual property rights.
